Solvent orange 3 is referred to by many names including Oil Orange 3,Grasan chrysoidine,  Azohel and Chrysoidine Y Base. In concentrated sulfuric acid that it turn to yellow, to orange after diluted and in nitric acid for orange solution.

It is used in coloring for printing inks, plastics, rubber, leather, gasoline, oil, lubricants, wax, candle etc...
