Ultraviolet Absorbent UV-0(C13H10O2) is also known as 2, 4-Dihydroxybenzophenone. It is nontoxic , fire-resistive, explosiveresistive and need stable in storing, Ultraviolet Absorbent UV-0 is a light stabilizer agent, applicable to polyolefine, poyvinyl chlornamee, polystyrene etc. and as the intermediate of UV-absorbing agents as well.

2, 4-Dihydroxybenzophenone is mainly used as a light stabilizer, such as plastic, it can effectively protect the organic glass and fabric to prevent the material and other due to the deterioration of the light, it also used as a synthesis of other ultraviolet absorbent intermediates.
